    Resumen El notario debe de proporcionar seguridad jurídica preventiva en el adecuado manejo del documento notarial, de los cuales muchas veces deriva la eficacia en el trámite registral o demás procesos relacionados a esta labor notarial, una de las funciones del notario es la conservación de los documentos originales y expedir cuantas copias auténticas le soliciten los clientes, copias certificadas o testimonios. El documento notarial, hace plena fe a su otorgamiento, deja consignado los derechos y las obligaciones, ya que viene con la fe pública que transforma a su contenido en un instrumento público, por ello la conservación del documento mientras esté a cargo del notario, será brindar la seguridad jurídica y el valor del documento público como garante de derechos aún si el mismo debe ser presentado en el ámbito litigioso
