  • This chapter focuses on John Ruskin's guidebook Mornings in Florence (1877). The goal of the chapter is to discuss the feasibility of Ruskin's itinerary in this guidebook today. This exploration not only considers the existence of the sights referred to, most of which are still prominent tourist landmarks today, but additionally the chapter reflects on the interest of using this understanding of the city again from the perspective of different stakeholders.
