  • This chapter focuses on images that allude one way or another to the sacred. Images can be used to express ultimate truths in a more effective way than texts or words, getting round the limitations of texts: illiteracy or the fragmentation in various languages. Through sacred visual art, many metaphysical ideas take shape and can be communicated through symbols and metaphors.
