Resumen de A new Kassabiana species from the Uppermost Maastrichtian of Northeastern Tunisia

• A new species of the genus Kassabiana Salaj. 1983 emend Salaj & Solakius, 1984, Kassabiana bangi sp. nov., is recorded in the uppermost Maastrichtian beds of northeastern Tunisia. Apart from the description of the new species the ecology of Kassabiana is discussed.
