La genealogía del concepto del après-coup está en isomorfia con el proceso que designa, inherente al pensamiento y al deseo. Esta genealogía siguió el desvío del Nachträglichkeit antes de florecer en el psicoanálisis francés con el término après-coup. El après-coup es una prueba que se lleva a cabo en dos tiempos y realiza un trabajo psíquico regresivo en el entre-dos del período de latencia. Esta configuración se explica por el hecho de que existe una solución de continuidad entre las tendencias extintivas de las pulsiones y el imperativo de inscripción que se opone a ellas mediante su uso. From Nachträglichkeit to après-coup. The in-two-times and in-betweentimes of human thought and desire. The genealogy of the concept of the après-coup is isomorphic with the process that it designates, which is inherent to thought and desire. This genealogy took the detour of the Nachträglichkeit before blossoming in French psychoanalysis with the term aprèsaprès-coup. The après-coup is an ordeal that takes place in two times and performs a regressive psychic work in the “in-between-times” of the latency period. This configuration is explained by the fact that there is a lack of continuity between the tendency to extinguish the drives and the imperative of inscription that opposes it. The aprèés-coup is the method available to the psyche to deal with these traumatic tendencies related to the numerous daytime traumas. It allows the libidinal regeneration of the psyche as well as object reversals. Whatever the place of this concept in the metapsychology of various psychoanalytic schools, in the session the task is to make this rehearsal and its functioning efficient.
