Resumen de Quelques notes sur les figures des droits de l’homme

Jérôme Benzimra-Hazan

  • If Law is first language, there is much to worry about. The way the proponents of general international law spoke of human rights before comprehending its inevitable nature, was indeed a revealing example. Another illustration is found, more generally, in the manner those who call themselves scholars draft law in complicated terms, which eventually condemn them to write only to each other, as to maintain at large overhead illusion of elitism hiding the agony of doctrine. Hence, beyond the substantial message of human rights, it is in an open University, restored to its vocation, that a truly animated law is to be found. Human rights today are perhaps what basically remain of the humanity of law.
