Resumen de Cytheromorpha Fuscata, a relict Holocene marine ostracod from freshwater inland lakes of Manitoba, Canada
The brackish- water ostracod Cytheromorpha fuscata has been found in freshwater inland lakes of Manitoba, Canada. The species is fully described, its distribution and ecology examined and suggestions are made to explain its presence in fresh-water so far from the sea. An annotated list of species which have been placed in the genus Cytheromorpha in the past is given as an appendix.
