Resumen de La ética de la investigación biomédica en Gonzalo Herranz

Este artículo explica ideas básicas de Gonzalo Herranz sobre la ética de la investigación, general y sobre seres humanos, obtenidas del estudio del material fragmentario que se ha conservado (borradores y esquemas de clase). Entre otras ideas, expongo su pensamiento sobre los fundamentos éticos de la actuación del investigador, sus objetivos al plantear la labor de investigación, el deber de investigar activo y pasivo, la libertad de investigación y las peculiaridades de la relación entre investigador y paciente-sujeto de investigación.

This paper explains basic ideas of Gonzalo Herranz on research ethics, in general and on human beings, obtained from the study of the fragmentary material that has been preserved (drafts and class outlines).
Among other ideas, I present his thoughts on the ethical foundations of the researcher’s actions: the target of the researcher, the active and passive duty to investigate, the freedom of research and the peculiarities of the relationship between the researcher and the subject of research/patient.
