El docente, figura clave en la formación en Soporte Vital Básico: Revisión sistemática

    Introducción: La etapa escolar se ha definido, por su obligatoriedad, como el entorno ideal para alcanzar a medio o largo plazo una población general formada en Soporte Vital Básico. Se ha señalado al docente como figura clave para incluir esta materia en los centros escolares, sin embargo, esto no sería viable sin disponer de una formación previa. La formación de esta materia durante los estudio de Grado de los maestros podría plantearse como una estrategia eficiente. Para analizar la situación actual de esta materia en la formación de los alumnos de los Grados de Educación de nuestro país se realiza una revisión sistemática. Método: Las bases de datos utilizadas fueron Cochrane Library, Pubmed, ScienceDirect, CINAHL, Web of Science, ERIC, GRAÓ. Cinco estudios son incluidos en la revisión sistemática mientras Resultados: El nivel de conocimientos en soporte vital básico de los futuros docentes es bajo pero tras una formación previa breve, los docentes y alumnos universitarios de los Grados de Educación, estarían capacitados y dispuestos para incluir este contenido con sus escolares en los centros educativos. Discusión: Estos resultados suponen un estímulo para la puesta en marcha de programas de formación en Soporte Vital Básico de los alumnos de los futuros docentes, base para que éstos puedan instruir a su alumnado.

    . Introduction: The school stage has been defined, due to its compulsory nature, as the ideal environment to reach a general population trained in Basic Life Support in the medium or long term. The teacher has been pointed out as a key figure to include this subject in schools, however, this would not be feasible without prior training. The training of this subject during the Master's degree studies could be considered as an efficient strategy. In order to analyze the current situation of this matter in the training of students of the Degrees of Education in our country, a systematic review with meta-analysis is carried out. Method: The databases used were Cochrane Library, Pubmed, ScienceDirect, CINAHL, Web of Science, ERIC, GRAÓ. Six studies are included in the systematic review while 2 studies are selected for the meta-analysis. Results: The level of knowledge in basic life support of future teachers is low, but after briefing previous training, teachers and university students of the Degrees of Education would be trained and willing to include this content with their students in educational centers. Discussion: These results represent a stimulus for the implementation of training programs in Basic Life Support for the students of future teachers, the basis for them to instruct their students.
