  Currently, problems are reported in the quality of coffee (Coffea arabicaL.) seedlings obtained in nurseries, a determining factor in the achievement of future highly productive plantations. A trial was carried out in 2020 at the CCS Juan Ramón Chávez in the municipality of Remedios, province of Villa Clara, with the aim of evaluating the effect of the bioproducts Enerplant, Nitrofix and Viusid agro on the quality of coffee seedlings in the nursery. For this, a completely randomized experimental design was established with five treatments that included the three bioproducts, an absolute control and a control where the provisions of the technical standards for the crop were applied, with three repetitions. The bioproducts were applied prior to the sowing of the seeds and when the seedlings reached the third pair of leaves. The percentages of germination at 50, 60 and 70 days after sowingwere determined and the height, stem diameter, number of leaf pairs, leaf area and total dry mass of the seedlings were evaluatedat seven months. The results show that the treatment with the bioproducts acceleratesthe germination of seeds and favorably stimulatesthe growth of coffee seedlings in the nursery, with increases between 35 and 48% in the leaf area with respect to the control without application, the best results are achieved when applying Nitrofix. The bioproducts applied contribute to raising the quality of the seedlings that are taken to the new coffee plantations

  Actualmente se reportan problemas en la calidad de las plántulas de cafeto (Coffea arabica L.) que se obtienen en viveros, factor determinante en el logro de plantaciones futuras altamente productivas. Se realizó un ensayo en el año 2020 en la CCS Juan Ramón Chávez en el municipio Remedios, provincia Villa Clara, con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de los bioproductos Enerplant, Nitrofix y Viusid Agro sobre la calidad de las posturas de café en vivero. Para ello se estableció un diseño experimental completamente aleatorizado con cinco tratamientos que incluían los tres bioproductos, un control absoluto y un control donde se aplicó lo establecido en las normas técnicas para el cultivo, con tres réplicas. Los bioproductos se aplicaron previos a la siembra de las semillas y cuando las plántulas alcanzaron el tercer par de hojas. Se determinó los porcentajes de germinación a los 50, 60 y 70 días después de la siembra y a los siete meses se evaluó la altura, diámetro del tallo, número de pares de hojas, área foliar y masa seca total de las plántulas. Los resultados evidencian que el tratamiento con los bioproductos, aceleran la germinación de las semillas y estimulan favorablemente el crecimiento de las plántulas de cafeto en vivero, con incrementos entre 35 y 48% en el área foliar con respecto al control sin aplicación, se alcanzan los mejores resultados al aplicar Nitrofix.
