Resumen de Morphological variation of Polyperibola Christiani Liska, from the late Miocene of Trinidad and Tobago
Polyperibola christiani Liska is the type species of a Late Miocene planktonic foraminiferal genus with variable morphology. Four growth stages and four morphological groups are discussed. The unit characters of the genus are also reviewed and comparisons are made with Candeina D'Orbigny, Globigerinita Bronnimann, and Velapertina Popescu.
