A un año de haber suspendido las clases presenciales, algunas instituciones educativas han vuelto a la presencialidad con la modalidad de “alternancia”, todavía no sabemos si se mantendrá o volverán a suspenderse las clases presenciales, en cualquier caso, la pregunta sigue siendo la misma: ¿volverá la vieja escuela que una vez cerró por la pandemia o habrá vuelto la nueva escuela que tanto se pedía, desde mucho antes del coronavirus? Más allá del debate técnico o epidemiológico, que es fundamental para un retorno seguro, la discusión debe retomar el campo de la pedagogía, porque en buena medida vamos a volver a una escuela que tanto física como educativamente está por reconstruir, así que al mejor estilo de los exploradores de antaño debemos tener la determinación de abrirnos camino hacia los cambios que hoy el mundo demanda, para que vuelva la escuela del futuro y no la del pasado.
