    Los textos en los que un hijo cuenta la vida de su padre y las vicisitudes de la relación que mantuvieron conforman un subgénero de la escritura biográfica. Este subgénero, que recibe en inglés dos denominaciones (patriografhy y patremoir), resulta especialmente útil para inquirir la índole del vinculo entre biografo y biografiado. En este artículo se ofrece un primer acercamiento a un conjunto de patriograrfías publicadas en la Agentina en las dos últimas décadas que hace foco en cómo en ellas aparece ese vínculo: ese “nosotros” conformado por padre e hijo. Además, se analiza cómo estos textos casi siempre tematizan, de diversas maneras, tres cuestiones: muerte, conversación y vocación. Asimismo, se postula que más allá de las intenciones del hijo-biografo con respecto a su padre en particular, la patriografía es siempre un espacio textual en el que se trama alguna foma de la afiliación o de la continuidad.

    The texts in which a son recounts his father's life and the vicissitudes of their relationship make up a subgenre of biographical writing. This subgenre, which receives two names in English (patriografhy and patremoir), is especially useful for inquiring into the nature of the relationships between the biographer and the biographee. This article offers a first approach to a set of patriographies published in Argentina in the last two decades that focuses on how that link appears in them: that "we" made up of father and son. In addition, it focuses on how these texts almost always thematize, in various ways, three issues: death, conversation and vocation. Likewise, it is postulated that beyond the intentions of the son-biographer concerning his father in particular, patriography is always a textual space in which some form of filiation or continuity is plotted.
