    Llamamos músicas electroacústicas a las distintas variantes de arte sonoro que utilizan fundamentalmente la cadena electroacústica como instrumento musical. Podemos ubicar sus orígenes en la reciente historia de la música contemporánea y, por una especie de “selección artificial”, derivaron en lo que hoy son.

    La intención de este trabajo es pasar revista a la memoria de esta selección; desandar el camino que éstas recorrieron al ir conformándose. Atenderemos en cada tipo, las búsquedas de apertura del lenguaje musical, la tecnología condicionante en sus momentos y las posibles influencias de las otras disciplinas artísticas anteriores y contemporáneas a su desarrollo.

    We call electroacoustic music the different variants of sound art which fundamentally use the electroacoustic chain as a musical instrument. We can locate their origins in the recent history of contemporary music and, by means of a type of “artificial selection”; they have developed into what they are today.

    The purpose of this work is to review the memory of this selection; to retrace the path which they have undergone as they evolved. For each type, we will consider the searches for the opening of the musical language, the conditioning technology at their time, and the possible influences of other artistic disciplines both previous and contemporary to their development.
