Resumen de Reseña. La agricultura a tiempo parcial en la Montaña de Alicante

En este trabajo se intenta dar una imagen clara y explicativa del fenómeno conocido como agricultura a tiempo parcial en la comarca de la Montaña de Alicante (Alicante, España). En él, mediante entrevistas-encuestas y otras fuentes estadísticas se buscan las razones de esta práctica, caracterizando las explotaciones y productores, en un contexto singular como el que encontramos en esta zona geográfica. Las fuentes estadísticas oficiales proporcionan unos datos que muchas veces se corroboran en las entrevistas pero que, otras veces, resulta difícil derivar una explicación lógica y coherente. Finalmente, se da cuenta de la importancia de las iniciativas públicas en relación al fenómeno y se esbozan las tendencias que se pueden seguir, muchas de ellas observadas hoy en día con el paso del tiempo.

This paper tries to give a clear and explanatory picture of the phenomenon known as part-time agriculture in the region of Alicante Mountain (Alicante, Spain). In it, by means of interviews-surveys and other statistical sources, the reasons for this practice are sought, characterizing the farms and producers, in a singular context such as the one we find in this geographical area. The official statistical sources provide data that are often corroborated in the interviews but, at other times, it is difficult to derive a logical and coherent explanation. Finally, the importance of public initiatives in relation to the phenomenon is noted and the trends that can be followed, many of them observed today with the passage of time, are outlined.
