• Elhasaella alanwoodi gen. nov., sp. nov. of foraminifera is described from the Maastrichtian of Jordan. Habitat is believed to be planktic. The new genus is placed in Elhasaelliinae subfam. nov. of the family Heterohelicidae Cushman.
