Resumen de Benthonic Foraminifera from the Coast and Lagoon of Cochin (South India)
69 benthonic species of foraminifera including one new species, from 34 bottom samples of the lagoon of Cochin (10) and from two nearshore profiles of the open shelf north and south of the inlet to Cochin harbour (24) down to 35 meters waterdepth are described, listed or illustrated. The more abundant forms and those which are of special taxonomic or ecological interest are discussed in detail.
