This paper presents a memorial: the encounter between a reader looking for a roof of her own and the Brazilian book club Read Women, which welcomed and sheltered her and became her space of resistance and resignification. Space that has also become the main topic of her master’s research project, whose thesis is currently in progress and in which she seeks to investigate and understand what the reverberations of the book club caused in the people who participate in it are. Therefore, this paper utilizes data collected through questionnaires applied to the participants of Read Women and interviews given by its mediators. The study, as part of said master’s thesis, seeks to display the entanglements that constitute the research and how the participating reader’s experiences within the book club gradually become theme for the participating researcher.

O presente artigo se trata de um memorial: o encontro entre uma leitora à procura de um teto para si e o clube de leitura Leia Mulheres, que a acolheu, abrigou e tornou-se seu espaço de resistência e ressignificações. Espaço que também se tornou o tema de sua pesquisa de mestrado, cuja dissertação se encontra em andamento e na qual ela procura investigar e compreender quais são as reverberações do clube de leitura causadas nas pessoas que dele participam. Para tal, este artigo se utiliza de dados levantados por meio de questionários aplicados às participantes do Leia Mulheres e entrevistas concedidas por suas mediadoras. O trabalho, enquanto recorte da dissertação, busca apresentar os entrelaçamentos que constituem a pesquisa e como as vivências da leitora participante no clube de leitura gradativamente se tornam tema para a pesquisadora participante.
