From an archaeological perspective, the history of human groups in each territory has been shaped by the available resources, the socio-technological possibilities of using them and the ontological structures that have prefigured the different ways of linking, inhabiting, ordering and/or using the material surroundings.
In this paper we will review the archaeological register of El Palmar National Park - Province of Entre Ríos (Argentina)- in order to recognize the different ways of using the available mineralogical sources and, with this, approach the cosmologies that acted on them. The archaeological register, as a present vestige of those past humanities, is exposed in this mineralogical history, which, as we will see, is far from being only productive.
