Resumen de Os judeus como a personificação do mal: a relação entre os judeus e os pecados capitais no Ocidente Medieval (séc. XIII-XV)

This paper aims at to present that in Western Europe during the Middle Ages the Jews were regarded by many Christians as sinners and personification of evil. Therefore, it presents the relationship between the Jews and the capital sins. From the accusations that were made against the Jews it is possible to identify the relationship between the capital sins and the negative representation about Judaism followers.

Este artigo visa apresentar que durante a Idade Média na Europa Ocidental os judeus eram considerados por muitos cristãos enquanto pecadores e personificação do mal. Para tanto, apresenta-se a relação entre os judeus e os pecados capitais. A partir das acusações que se faziam contra os judeus é possível identificar a relação com os pecados capitais e a representação negativa acerca dos seguidores do judaísmo.
