    La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la expresión artística en el desarrollo integral de la educación inicial de los niños del sub nivel II de la institución educativa “Augusta Ugalde Alcívar”.  La metodología aplicada en el trabajo de investigación tuvo un enfoque cualitativo. Los métodos aplicados fueron teóricos, documental, bibliográfico, analítico, deductivo y descriptivo. Además se utilizó como instrumento una guía de observación la cual se aplicó a de 30 estudiantes, 16 niñas y 14 niños del subnivel II;  la investigación fue descriptiva con apoyo de la literatura sustentada en bases bibliográficas de alto impacto, obtenido los resultados existió un gran desarrollo en el área motriz, cognitiva, socio afectivo y del lenguaje; tras aplicación de la guía de observación se evidenciaron los beneficios de la expresión artística, y sus aportes en la formación integral de los educandos, con la investigación se concluyó que las autoridades del centro de educación inicial mencionado se encuentran siempre enfocados a la utilización de actividades innovadoras que ayuden al niño en su desarrollo personal y académico, con esto se resaltó la importancia del uso de recursos didácticos en el P.E.A como una herramienta fundamental para el desarrollo íntegro del niño, fortaleciendo las habilidades, destrezas artísticas del infante, promoviendo la cultura desde edades tempranas, creando seres íntegros, culturales y sociales.

    The objective of this research was to analyze the artistic expression in the integral development of the initial education of children of sub-level II of the educational institution "Augusta Ugalde Alcívar". The methodology applied in the research work had a qualitative approach. The applied methods were theoretical, documentary, bibliographic, analytical, deductive and descriptive. In addition, an observation guide was used as an instrument, which was applied to 30 students, 16 girls and 14 boys from sublevel II; The research was descriptive with the support of the literature supported by high-impact bibliographic bases, obtained the results there was a great development in the motor, cognitive, socio-affective and language area; After application of the observation guide, the benefits of artistic expression were evidenced, and its contributions in the integral formation of the students, with the investigation it was concluded that the authorities of the mentioned initial education center are always focused on the use of activities innovative that help the child in his personal and academic development, with this the importance of the use of didactic resources in the P.E.A was highlighted as a fundamental tool for the integral development of the child, strengthening the abilities, artistic skills of the infant, promoting culture from early ages, creating whole, cultural and social beings.
