La inteligencia artificial (IA) se ha convertido en un tópico de moda. Cada organización social, económica y política tiene una visión propia sobre sus alcances y utilidades. En ocasiones colinda con la fascinación y en otras con el temor. Realmente la conocemos mal pues es una innovación que llega y se expande por el ámbito social, integrándose de manera casi imperceptible en los marcos de vida cotidiana más diversos. El ChatGTP la llevó a la superficie y las posturas sobre la IA se encuentran polarizadas. De ahí la importancia de conocer a fondo el contexto desde el cuál surge. Será fundamental, en consecuencia, analizar además de sus funciones y alcances, las preguntas pertinentes que debemos formularnos para comprender su naturaleza y la manera como nos puede llegar a ayudar.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a predominant topic. Each social, economic, and political organization has its own vision of its scope and benefits. Sometimes it borders on fascination and others with fear. We really do not know it well because it is an innovation that arrives and expands through the social sphere, integrating almost imperceptibly into the most diverse frameworksof daily life. The GTP Chat brought her to the surface andthe positions about AI are polarized. Hence the importance of knowing in depth the context from which it arises. It will therefore be essential to analyze, in addition to its functions and scope, the pertinent questions that we must ask ourselves to understand its nature and how it can help us.
