The article focuses on the issue of the press in Western Libya, starting from the Ottoman age, up to early 1920s. In particular, the author analyses the newspaper «al-Liwā’ alṬarābulusī», the official mouthpiece of the National Reform Party, whose secretary was Azzam and president al-Qizani, both involved in the newspaper activities.
