    En las últimas décadas, como respuesta al crecimiento del turismo cultural y, paralelamente, a la búsqueda de una renovada imagen de los destinos, son muchas las ciudades que han apostado por ampliar su oferta museística. Es el caso de estudio que se presenta, la ciudad de A Coruña. A través de este trabajo se tiene como objeto analizar el papel que juega la red de Museos Científicos Coruñeses en el actual marco turístico y en el futuro desarrollo del modelo turístico de la ciudad. Para ello, se ha elegido un método investigador cualitativo, que acomete conocer la visión que los actores vinculados a la actividad turística tienen de estos espacios culturales. Ante el considerable grado de obsolescencia que presentan estos museos, los resultados obtenidos apuntan hacia la necesidad de reconsiderar estas inversiones y sus objetivos.

    In recent decades, in response to the growth of cultural tourism and, in parallel to the search for a renewed image of the destinations, many cities have opted to expand their museum offerings. This is the case of the study presented here, the city of A Coruña. The aim of this study is to analyze the role played by the network of scientific museums in A Coruña in the current tourism framework and in the future development of the city's tourism model. For this purpose, a qualitative research method has been chosen, which aims to know the vision that the actors linked to the tourist activity have of these cultural spaces.
