Resumen de Os determinantes do fluxo escolar no ensino médio em Minas Gerais (Brasil)

  Com o objetivo de suprir a falta de dados que permita estimar o fluxo dos alunos entre as séries e ao mesmo tempo obter informações do indivíduo e da sua família, a Pesquisa por Amostra de Domicílios de Minas Gerais pesquisou a situação educacional de todos os entrevistados no ano anterior à pesquisa. A PAD-MG é uma pesquisa bianual, coordenada pela Fundação João Pinheiro, que possui informações sociodemográficas da população mineira, tais como saúde, educação, renda, trabalho entre outros. Assim, esse artigo tem o objetivo de estimar as taxas de fluxo do ensino médio para Minas Gerais entre os anos de 2012 e 2013. Em seguida, serão estimados os determinantes da promoção do ensino médio por meio de uma regressão logística binária. As variáveis explicativas consideram atributos individuais e variáveis relacionadas ao background familiar, como renda domiciliar per capita, status ocupacional, composição do domicílio e recebimento do Bolsa Família.

  With the aim of making up for the lack of data that allows estimating the flow of students between grades and at the same time obtaining information on the individual and his/her family, the Minas Gerais Household Sample Survey researched the educational situation of all interviewees in the year prior to the survey. The PAD-MG is a biannual survey, coordinated by the João Pinheiro Foundation, which has sociodemographic information of the population of Minas Gerais, such as health, education, income, work, among others. Thus, this article aims to estimate the high school flow rates for Minas Gerais between 2012 and 2013. Then, the determinants of high school promotion will be estimated using a binary logistic regression. The explanatory variables consider individual attributes and variables related to family background, such as per capita household income, occupational status, household composition and receipt of Bolsa Família.
