Resumen de El símbolo del "camino" como teoría de imitatio en los sonetos de Garcilaso de la Vega

Este artículo analiza el símbolo del «camino» en varios sonetos de Garcilaso con el fin de demostrar su particular concepto de la imitatio en aquella época. El tratamiento garcilasiano del tópico del Homo viator, expresado a través de la referencia del «camino», pone de manifiesto una concepción singular y ecléctica de la imitación que dejaba ver ya destellos de la venidera estética barroca. En sus sonetos, el peregrino de amor está anunciando, así, al sujeto enajenado y patético que aparecerá posteriormente en la poética barroca, donde el desequilibrio, el contraste y el movimiento se convierten en claves para entender la realidad de los siglos xvi y xvii.

This article analyses the symbol of the «way» in several Garcilaso’s sonnets in order to demonstrate his particular concept of the imitatio in that time. The garcilasian treatment about of the Homo viator literary topic, expressed across the reference of the «way», reveals a singular and eclectic conception of the imitation that was showing signs of the future baroque aesthetics. Therefore, on his sonnets, the pilgrim of love is preluding the alienated and pathetic subject that will appear later in the baroque poetics, where the imbalance, the contrast and the movement are keys to understand the reality of the 16th and 17th centuries
