Resumen de Educación musical y derechos humanos: diálogos necesarios

En los últimos años, se ha notado un creciente interés por el «derechos humanos» por las referencias teóricas que explican y definen ese concepto, al mismo tiempo en que proliferan las discusiones al respecto en los campos específicos.
En el área de la educación musical, podemos afirmar que los debates han contemplado varios ángulos de abordaje, que abarcan desde la discusión del concepto y de las referencias teóricas que le dan soporte hasta su vinculación con la innovación tecnológica o la conexión entre música, transformación social y desarrollo sostenible. En este ensayo, se propone una reflexión sobre esos temas y sobre en qué medida han estado presentes los derechos humanos en nuestra praxis actual de educación musical.
Se sostiene aquí que las acciones en educación musical, en el escenario social, deben configurarse como otro campo independiente que preserve y garantice los derechos humanos, tomándolos como una dimensión esencial en el trabajo profesional y en las interacciones con la vida y la sociedad.

In recent years we have noticed a growing interest in the topic of "human rights" and the theoretical references that explain and define it, while discussions in specific fields have proliferated.
In the area of music education, we can affirm that the debates have contemplated various angles of approach, ranging from the discussion of the concept and the theoretical referents that support it, to its connection with technological innovation or the connection between music, social transformation and sustainable development. This essay is about a reflection on these themes and how much human rights have been present in our music education praxis.
