    El Consejo Nacional de Radio y Televisión fue el primer organismo oficial regulador que integró emisoras de radio y televisión de Argentina. Los años de su existencia coincidieron con el período en que el Estado se propuso el ambicioso proyecto de extender por la totalidad del territorio nacional la cobertura de radio y teledifusión, a partir de la participación privada. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar los proyectos de expansión y control de estos medios, a partir de la reconstrucción del rol definido para el CONART en la regulación de la actividad privada. La reconstrucción ha sido realizada a partir del relevamiento de varias publicaciones periódicas de prensa escrita y documentación oficial. El análisis permite comprender las disputas al interior del amplio espacio antiperonista por el control de la radio y teledifusión, así como el proceso de politización y repolitización cíclico que experimentó el empresariado de medios masivos en esta etapa.

    The National Council of Radio and Television was the first official regulatory body that integrated radio and television stations in Argentina. Its years coincided with the period in which the State proposed the ambitious project of extending radio and television coverage throughout the national territory, based on the participation of the private sector. The objective of this work is to analyze the state projects for the expansion and control of radio and television, based on the reconstruction of the role defined for the Council in regulating the activity of private media. The reconstruction has been carried out from the survey of several periodical publications of written press and official documentation. The analysis allows us to understand the disputes within the broad anti-Peronist space for the control of radio and television broadcasting, as well as the cyclical process of politicization and repoliticization that the media entrepreneurs experienced at this stage.
