Educación: hacia una perspectiva ética

    El presenta artículo es una advertencia, en forma de sugerencia, a los compromisos asumidos en el pacto por la educación dominicana. Dicha advertencia se fundamenta en la crítica hecha por Max Horkheimer a la sociedad moderna por haber instrumentalizado la razón. Este fenómeno produce un modelo educativo que promueve el espíritu del capitalismo con manifestación autoritaria, en una lógica mercantilista, también promueve un hombre egoísta, falto de solidaridad. El tipo de escuela producido por esta sociedad es la escuela de la ignorancia. Contrario a esto, se propone una perspectiva ética basada en el sentido de la responsabilidad por la situación del otro, con espíritu solidario en donde los ciudadanos en formación sean seres solidarios y agentes conscientes de la transformación de la realidad que les martilla de frente. Es el pretender que las reformas educativas tengan como norte esta lógica, inspirada en la filosofía E. Levinas.

    The present article is a warning in the form of a suggestion to the commitments made in the pact for dominican education. this warning is based on the review by max horkheimer about modern society and its way of instrumentalizing reason. This phenomenon produces an educational model that promotes the spirits of capitalism with authoritative manifestation in mercantilist logic, and in promoting a selfish man, lacking solidarity. the type of school produced by this society is the school of ignorance. to oppose this, an ethical perspective is proposed based on the sense of responsibility for the situation of others, with a solidary spirit where citizens in formation are solidary and turned into conscious agents of the transformation of their reality. It is to be achieved that educational reforms have this logic, inspired by E. Levinas, as their north.
