    En el año 2003 se llevó a cabo en la quebrada 'las Iglesias', en el municipio de Sogamoso (Boyacá), un estudio sobre la composición de macroinvertebrados. Se seleccionaron dos estaciones de altitud entre los 3000 y 3200 m.s.n.m., y se realizaron mediciones de las condiciones físico-químicas: oxígeno disuelto y pH. Se determinación dos órdenes representativos que indican el estado del ecosistema. En el orden Trichoptera los géneros encontrados fueron Helycopsiche, Brachysedotes, Triplectides, Atanotolica, Nectopsyehe, Smicridea y Leptonema, en el grupo Ephemeroptera los géneros reportados son Bateis, Tricorytodes, Leptohyphes y Traulodes

    In the 2003 year was development the out river Iglesias In the municipality of Sogamoso (Boyacá) in the gulch, a study on the composition of the community of macroinvertebrates. Two stations were selected to several altitude, between the 3000 y 3200 [m.s.n.m] and was make measuring of the physic-chemical conditions like dissolved oxygen and [pH]. This first surrender present the determination of larvae and nymphs of the three order representative the we indication the state of the ecosystem. In the Trichoptera order the opposing genders were Helycopsiche, Brachysedotes, Triplectides, Atanotolica, Nectopsyche, Smicridea and Leptonema, in the Ephemeroptera group the reported genders are Bateis, Tricorytodes, Leptohyphes and Traulodes.
