Espadim: a invenção de uma tradição simbólica dos componentes estruturais do ethos militar

    O presente artigo aborda a análise da influência do Espadim de Caxias que contribuíram para formação dos componentes estruturais do ethos militar nos cadetes em formação na Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras (AMAN), Exército Brasileiro. O objetivo do trabalho de pesquisa foi identificar relacionamentos causais entre a importância da utilização da espada para o senhorio feudal para a Idade Média e a aplicação ethos militar cavalheiresco no campo simbólico-discursivo nos ritos e cerimoniais da AMAN. Esta análise contou com as contribuições teóricas de Maingueneau (2019), Aurell (2021); Schein (1991); Huntington (1996); Bruneau e Matei (2013). Para auxiliar na sua consecução, foi realizada uma da análise dos discursos observados nos documentos internos da AMAN. Na conclusão, identificamos nos discursos e documentos que o artefato recebeu um significado mítico pela alusão e proteção do sobrenatural, pois através do cerimonial dos cadetes e do porte do Espadim, invoca-se a mensagem profissional de se comandar com justiça para atingir a vitória legítima.

    This article discusses the analysis of the influence of Espadim de Caxias that contributed to the formation of the structural components of the military ethos in the cadets in training at the Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras (AMAN), Brazilian Army. The objective of the research work was to identify causal relationships between the importance of the use of the sword for the feudal lordship for the Middle Ages and the application of chivalric military ethos in the symbolic-discursive field in the rites and ceremonials of AMAN. This analysis included the theoretical contributions of Maingueneau (2019), Aurell (2021); Schein (1991); Huntington (1996); Bruneau and Matei (2013). To assist in its achievement, an analysis of the discourses observed in the internal documents of AMAN was performed. In conclusion, we identified in the speeches and documents that the artifact received a mythical meaning by the allusion and protection of the supernatural, because through the ceremonial of the cadets and the bearing of the Espadim, invokes the professional message of command with justice to achieve legitimate victory.
