    Las relaciones entre la estética natural y la estética artística no han sido siempre fáciles. Como tampoco las correlaciones entre arte y naturaleza han sido independientes del filtro contextualizador de la historia cultural humana y de los correspondientes desarrollos científicos. La aproximación al tema exige el estudio de una transición entre los derechos del ámbito natural y su imparable conversión diacrónica en naturaleza-producto. La reflexión sobre una serie de dicotomías resultará, pues, fundamental en este caso: objeto estético y objeto natural; representación y expresión; la naturaleza como realidad disponible y la naturaleza como realidad dada; el ámbito natural y el ámbito artificial. Desde estas bisagras conceptuales y funcionales quizás se puedan entender mejor los diferentes momentos históricos que han articulado los diálogos entre arte y naturaleza.

    The relationship between natural and artistic aesthetics has not always been easy. Neither have the correlations between art and nature been independent from the contextualising filter that is human cultural history and its corresponding scientific developments. Approaching the subject requires studying the transition between the rights of the natural environment and its unstoppable conversion into a nature-product over time. It requires us to reflect upon a number of dichotomies: aesthetic and natural objects; representation and expression; nature as an available reality and nature as a given reality; natural environment and artificial environment. These conceptual and functional hinges may provide us with a better understanding of the different historical moments that have articulated the dialogues between art and nature.

    Les relacions entre l’estètica natural i l’estètica artística no han estat sempre fàcils. Com tampoc les correlacions entre art i natura han estat independents del filtre contextualitzador de la història cultural humana i dels corresponents desenvolupaments científics. L’aproximació al tema exigeix l’estudi d’una transició entre els drets de l’àmbit natural i la seva imparable conversió diacrònica en natura-producte. La reflexió al voltant d’una sèrie de dicotomies resultarà, doncs, fonamental en aquest cas: objecte estètic i objecte natural; representació i expressió; la natura com realitat disponible i la natura com realitat donada; l’àmbit natural i l’àmbit artificial. Des d’aquestes frontisses conceptuals i funcionals potser es puguin entendre millor els diferents moments històrics que han articulat els diàlegs entre art i natura.
