A través de la escritura autobioficcional Camila Sosa Villada recrea sucesos y experiencias de su vida como travesti prostituta, ocurrida en medio de la pobreza, el desprecio social y la persecución policiaca, pero también en ámbitos en los que la ternura, el afecto y la sororidad hacen la vida menos miserable y más llevadera. En el presente artículo se abordarán conceptos y términos de la teoría literaria (autobioficción), y de las teorías de género (cuerpo y travestismo). Se buscará hacer un entrecruzamiento entre ambas para explicar la génesis de los conceptos teóricos y su puesta en acto en la novela en cuestión.

Through autobiofictional writing, Camila Sosa Villada, recreates events and experiences of her life as a transvestite prostitute, in the midst of poverty, social contempt and police persecution, but also in environments in which tenderness, affection and sorority make life less miserable and more bearable. This article will deal with concepts and terms of literary theory (autobiofiction) and theories of gender (body and transvestism). An intersection between the two will be sought to explain the genesis of the theoretical concepts and their implementation in the novel in question.
