Este escrito intenta explicar históricamente la tentación que ciertos juristas han tenido de ser filósofos. En diálogo con Manuel Atienza y Jesús Vega, se examina el estatus de la filosofía del derecho en el marco de la organización de los saberes universitarios y se hace una propuesta al respecto: que la filosofía del derecho se cultive en la Facultad de Filosofía y que la Teoría del Derecho se estudie en la Facultad de Derecho.

This paper attempts to historically explain the temptation that certain jurists have had to be philosophers. In dialogue with Manuel Atienza and Jesús Vega, the status of the Philosophy of Law is examined within the framework of the organization of university knowledges and a proposal is made in this regard: that the Philosophy of Law be cultivated in the Faculty of Philosophy and that the Theory of Law be studied at the Faculty of Law.
