Resumen de Un testo per la scena: il ‘frammento di Cassandra’ (TrGF adesp.649 K.-Sn.)

Enrico Medda

  • The nature of the dramatic dialogue transmitted by P.Oxy. 2746 (= TrGF adespota 649 K.-Sn.) and its place in the history of postclassical tragedy are notoriously controversial. Through a detailed analysis of the author’s treatment of space this paper aims at demonstrating that the fragment is very probably a remnant of a real tragedy written for performance, not the work of a cultivated amateur or a free-standing scene created by a tragoidos for a virtuoso performance (though it is possible that an original tragic text was adapted for such an occasion).
