Resumen de Consciência sociolinguística: uma revisão do conceito com base em estudos brasileiros e estrangeiros

  Emerging investigations on sociolinguistic awareness have contributed to uncovering the mechanisms that affect the association of certain social meanings to the facts of the language, as well as contributing to a better understanding of the constitutive processes of speakers' linguistic identity. Therefore, the main objective of this work was to analyze the concept of sociolinguistic awareness, based on nine articles published in a national and international context. As a methodological way to achieve this objective, we chose the theoretical review and qualitative description of the studies. The analysis and reflection on the notion of sociolinguistic consciousness, in the light of the theoretical references of Oushiro (2021), Freitag (2020), McGowan and Babel (2019), Bijvoet and Fraurud (2016), Pearce (2015) among others, indicated two great domains for the meaning of the term, that of perception and metalinguistic discourse, as well as the use of different methodological protocols that meet the specificities of each domain. In this sense, it is concluded that more research on the subject should be carried out and disseminated.

  Investigações emergentes sobre consciência sociolinguística têm contribuído para desvelar os mecanismos que incidem sobre a associação de determinados significados sociais aos fatos da língua, bem como contribuído para melhor compreender os processos constitutivos da identidade linguística dos falantes. Diante disso, este trabalho tem como objetivo principal analisar o conceito de consciência sociolinguística, a partir de nove artigos publicados em contexto nacional e internacional. Como caminho metodológico para atingir tal objetivo, escolhemos o da revisão teórica e descrição qualitativa dos estudos. A análise e reflexão sobre a noção de consciência sociolinguística, à luz dos referenciais teóricos de Oushiro (2021), Freitag (2020), McGowan e Babel (2019), Bijvoet e Fraurud (2016), Pearce (2015) entre outros, indicaram dois grandes domínios para a acepção do termo, o da percepção e o do discurso metalinguístico, bem como o uso de diferentes protocolos metodológicos que atendam às especificidades atinentes à cada domínio. Nesse sentido, conclui-se sobre a relevância de que mais pesquisas sobre a temática sejam realizadas e divulgadas.
