Esta investigación pretende estudiar la faceta de Gómez de Salazar como autor de obras filológicas que discurre de manera paralela a su labor periodística. Nuestro estudio pondrá especial énfasis en el estudio de las innovaciones pedagógicas adoptadas en sus obras y el examen de la recepción de sus textos en la sociedad del momento, con el objeto de analizar y evaluar el alcance de las ideas lingüísticas de este autor y su papel en la construcción del pensamiento lingüístico hispánico de la época.

This research aims to study the facet of Gómez de Salazar as an author of philological works that runs parallel to his journalistic work. Our study will place special emphasis on the study of the pedagogical innovations adopted in his works and the examination of the reception of his texts in the society of the moment, in order to analyze and evaluate the scope of the linguistic ideas of this author and his role in the construction of the Hispanic linguistic thought of the time.
