Realidad en la docencia entre presencial, lo virtual y lo inmersivo

    El ámbito académico no soslaya las dinámicas sociales en torno las teorías generacionales en las que nos vemos inmersos, por un lado, tenemos a la ya muy conocida teoría de Prensky (2001) sobre los “migrantes y nativos digitales”, cada uno con rasgos muy característicos en cuanto al uso de dispositivos tecnológicos que incorporan a su propia dinámica, y por otro, incorporamos a este análisis, la teoría de la generaciones cuyo origen se remonta a planteamientos de Ortega y Gaset (1933), Gertrude Stein (1945), William Strauss y Neil Howe (1991) y el periodista Tom Brokaw (1998) entre otros, misma que ha cobrado mucho sentido en nuestros días, y que refiere a los rasgos que históricamente han tenido las generaciones desde la primera guerra mundial y hasta nuestro días.

    Es común escuchar ahora sobre los milennials, los baby boomers o los centennials, etc. todos ellos con sendos rasgos distintivos, sin embargo, en el contexto contemporáneo podemos distinguir mayoritariamente a tres protagonistas en los procesos educativos actuales en el nivel superior, la generación “X”, los “milennials” y los “centennials”, los docentes corresponden al primer y segundo grupo citado, mientras que los estudiantes básicamente representan la tercer categoría.

    El problema que se analiza en el presente documento, es definir los rasgos involucrados en cada uno de los actores en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje bajo la teoría de las generaciones para determinar mejores estrategias didácticas que empaticen con este perfil de estudiantes y ubicar dichas acciones en la brechas bajo la teoría de Prensky.

    Metodológicamente es un estudio de corte cualitativo cuyo alcance es de tipo compresivo e interpretativo, se usan técnicas documentales y el análisis de contenido.

    The academic field does not ignore the social dynamics around the generational theories in which we find ourselves immersed, on the one hand, we have the already well-known theory of Prensky (2001) on "migrants and digital natives", each one with very different traits. characteristics in terms of the use of technological devices that incorporate their own dynamics, and on the other, we incorporate into this analysis, the theory of generations whose origin goes back to approaches by Ortega y Gaset (1933), Gertrude Stein (1945), William Strauss and Neil Howe (1991) and the journalist Tom Brokaw (1998) among others, which has made a lot of sense today, and which refers to the traits that generations have historically had since the First World War and up to the present day.

    It is common now to hear about millennials, baby boomers or centennials, etc. all of them with their own distinctive features, however, in the contemporary context we can mainly distinguish three protagonists in the current educational processes at the higher level, generation "X", the "millennials" and the "centennials", the teachers correspond to the first and second group cited, while students basically represent the third category.

    The problem that is analyzed in this document is to define the features involved in each one of the actors in the teaching-learning process under the theory of generations to determine better teaching strategies that empathize with this profile of students and locate these actions in the gaps under Prensky's theory.

    Methodologically, it is a qualitative study whose scope is comprehensive and interpretative, documentary techniques and content analysis are used.
