    Este artículo analiza la visión del Santo Oficio sobre la magia, hechicería, sexualidad, uniones conyugales y solicitación en Ciudad Rodrigo entre los años 1584 y 1614. A la vez, estudia la visión popular que se tenía sobre esos mismos temas. El artículo pone de manifiesto un conflicto de visiones entre el poder y la sociedad, así como una realidad muy plural, repleta de matices.

    This article analyzes the vision of the Inquisition on magic, witchcraft, sexuality, marital unions and solicitation in Ciudad Rodrigo between 1584 and 1614.

    At the same time, it will be studied the popular view that people had about the same issues. The article reveals a conflict of visions between power and society, as well as a plural reality, full of nuances
