It can prevent the eruption of adjacent permanent or cause ectopic eruption, leading to crossbite in the region and diastema. Although the initial plan was to extract the supernumerary and evaluate its subsequent implantation in the agendasic site, it could not be achieved due to the angulation and presence of incomplete roots.
