    El presente trabajo traza un pequeño recorrido por los festejos barrocos a la Inmaculada Concepción, durante el siglo xvii. Al mostrar la relevancia para la sociedad novohispana tanto en el ámbito religioso como en el político; a través de diversas manifestaciones artísticas.

     This work maps a short route around the barroque festivities for the Immaculate Conception during the 17th century, showing the relevance it had in the colonial society, both in the religious realm as in the poltitical one. All this through different artistic manifestations.
