El presente trabajo estudia artículos, sobre el levantamiento armado de Augusto Sandino y las corrientes del antiimperialismo que se debatieron a partir de dicho suceso, publicados en las revistas Claridad y Repertorio Americano. También analiza el contexto en el que circularon dichos textos, sus aportes a la idea de nación Latinoamericana y cómo Sandino se transformó en un símbolo en el pensamiento político de la región.

This paper studies writings about the armed uprising of Augusto Sandino, and the anti-imperialist trends that were debated, from that event, in the Claridad and Repertorio Americano journals. It also analyzes the context in which these texts circulated, their impact in the creation of a Latin American nation, and how Sandino became a representation for the regional political thought.
