En la escritura el autor hace acto de presencia en la totalidad de la obra, momento inseparable donde historia y obra se funden indiscutiblemente y en la que la literatura dialoga con las ciencias sociales. El Sexto narra el mundo de la prisión que concentra y materializa todo lo depravado, inmundo y vil, en un fondo de podredumbre, donde se representa la escalada de la degradación y el envilecimiento. También “laboratorio social” que asoma a los abismos de “lo humano” donde la interacción se da entre la bestialidad de los presos, el cinismo de los guardias y la crueldad y brutalidad de prácticas carcelarias, donde toda experiencia es posible, incluso lo insospechado puede darse como experiencia liberadora y lo inaudito se encuentra en personajes marginales, mismos que pasan del sadismo, la abyección y la infamia, a “un proceso fulgurante de iluminación” y una experiencia liberadora.

In writing the author does an act of presence along the totality of the work, inseparable moment where the story and the work merge indisputably and the one in which literature dialogues with social sciences. The Sixth tells about the world of the prison which concentrates and materializes everything that is depraved, filthy and vile, in a rotting background where the escalation of degradation and vileness is represented. It is also a “social lab” that allows a glance to the abyss of “the human thing” where the interaction is given between the bestiality of the prisoners, the cynicism of the guards and the cruelty and brutality of prison practices, where all experience is possible, even the unimagined can be a liberating experience and the unthinkable dwells in the marginal characters, the same ones that go from sadism, abjection and infamy to a “dazzling process of illumination” and a liberating experience.
