El objetivo del presente artículo es argumentar respecto a cómo el trabajo no remunerado que desarrollan mayoritariamente las mujeres constituye el núcleo de la constitución del régimen de bienestar en Argentina. Para defender esta proposición se realizará una revisión de la modalidad y variaciones dadas en el sistema de protección social del país. Luego, se analizará información empírica que permite proyectar ponderaciones acerca del peso que en la economía tiene el trabajo no remunerado. Se sumarán aportes transversales desde la perspectiva de género para debatir cómo este trabajo recae mayoritariamente en las mujeres. Reconociendo que se trata de un trabajo invisibilizado de manera intencionada. Este trabajo no remunerado es sustancial para la organización de la sociedad, siendo un mecanismo de dominación la invisibilización del mismo. Por último, se establecerán aportes sobre las políticas sociales, que con mayor o menor nivel de explicitación, han apoyado y profundizado esta invisibilización.

The objective of this article is to argue in favor of the following thesis: the core of the constitution of the welfare regime in Argentina is the paid work carried out by the majority of women. To defend this proposal, a review of the modality on what was built and if it was modified by social protection in the country will be carried out. In addition, an analysis of the empirical information will be carried out that allows projecting weights on the weight that paid work has in the economy. Assuming in a transversal way strong contributions from gender studies to debate how this work is carried out mainly by women. Recognizing at the same time that it is a work intentionally made invisible through an actively generated process. This unpaid work is essential for the organization of society, being a mechanism of domination by making it invisible. Finally, contributions will be established around social policies, those with the highest possible level of explicitness, this invisibility has been supported and deepened.
