Nivel de conocimientos de entrenadores de lucha sobre los métodos para valorar el potencial genético en la selección de talentos deportivos

    El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo determinar el nivel de conocimiento de entrenadores de lucha sobre los métodos para la valoración del potencial genético en la selección de talentos deportivos para que el perfeccionamiento de este proceso satisfaga las exigencias de la actividad competitiva del deporte en el sistema de alto rendimiento. Entre los antecedentes de esta investigación se encuentran los trabajos de Tamarit, Martínez y Poll (2013), Nodari y Fin (2015), Hernández (2017), Rodríguez, Montenegro y Petro (2017), Gualdrón, Cobos, Castro, Melo, y Argüello (2019). Los métodos y técnicas fundamentales empleados fue la revisión del Programa Integral de Preparación del Deporte Lucha y la encuesta aplicada a 10 entrenadores de lucha participantes en la Copa Yayabo de Sancti Spíritus en abril del 2019. De forma general se encontró que las características hereditarias es considerado por el 80% de los entrenadores entre el 5to y el 6to lugar en cuanto a prioridad para la detección y la selección mientras que solo el 20% emplean las características hereditarias como elemento para la detección y selección temprana en el 5to y 6to lugar de prioridad a partir de la observación de la estatura de los padres, pero sin utilizar algún método científico que le permita estimar cuantitativamente la futura estatura del niño. A modo de conclusión se observa un bajo conocimiento y utilización por parte de entrenadores de lucha cubanos de las categorías de escolares referentes al tema estudiado.

    The present work aims to determine the level of knowledge of wrestling coaches on the methods for the assessment of genetic potential in the selection of sports talents so that the improvement of this process satisfies the demands of the competitive activity of sport in the system of high performance. Among the antecedents of this research are the works of Tamarit, Martínez and Poll (2013), Nodari and Fin (2015), Hernández (2017), Rodríguez, Montenegro and Petro (2017), Gualdrón, Cobos, Castro, Melo, and Argüello (2019). The fundamental methods and techniques used were the review of the Comprehensive Wrestling Sport Preparation Program and the survey applied to 10 wrestling coaches participating in the Yayabo Cup of Sancti Spíritus in April 2019. In general, it was found that hereditary characteristics are considered by 80% of coaches between 5th and 6th place in terms of priority for detection and selection while only 20% use hereditary characteristics as an element for detection and early selection in 5th and 6th place of priority from the observation of the height of the parents, but without using any scientific method that allows him to quantitatively estimate the future height of the child. By way of conclusion, a low knowledge and use by Cuban wrestling trainers of the categories of schoolchildren regarding the subject studied is observed.
