Resumen de De la formación a la instalación: un modelo de espacio test agrario para el País Vasco (España)

Se ha de contextualizar la investigación en el problema generado por la falta de relevo generacional y en la búsqueda de alternativas imaginativas que impulsen el acceso a nuevos agricultores. Se centra en un territorio, el País Vasco, y parte de un antecedente, la agroaldea, un modelo que está mostrando algunas deficiencias, originadas preferentemente por la falta de madurez del proyecto del nuevo agricultor. La búsqueda de soluciones lleva a considerar la necesidad de impulsar la creación de un espacio en el que la persona que quiere vivir de la agricultura pueda testarla. La propuesta conecta con la iniciativa de espacio test agrario. Los resultados destacan cuatro compromisos principales: la decisión de que sean las Asociaciones de Desarrollo Rural las que gestionen el espacio test; la protección social del candidato mediante un contrato por formación en durante dos años; la tutorización del aspirante siguiendo patrones similares a los utilizados en el Plan de Jóvenes Agricultores; y la financiación del espacio test.

The research has to contextualize in the problem generated by the lack of generational replacement and in the search for imaginative alternatives that promote access to new farmers. It focuses on a territory, the Basque Country, and starts from an antecedent, the horticulture park, a model that is showing some deficiencies, mainly caused by the lack of maturity of the new farmer's project. The search for solutions leads to consider the need to promote the creation of a space where the person who wants to make a living from agriculture can test it. The proposal connects with the agricultural test-space initiative. The results highlight four main commitments: the decision that the Rural Development Associations will manage the test space; the social protection of the tester through a two-year training contract; the tutoring of the tester following patterns similar to those used in the Young Farmers Plan; and the financing of the test space.
