Resumen de La Integración Centroamericana: Construyendo un Sentido Común

  De cara a la complejidad del contexto y los retos globales, la integración regional y el derecho comunitario tienen un papel protagónico para hacer frente a todos estos retos compartidos. En un nuevo contexto global de multipolaridad en el cual la geopolítica de bloques es tendencia generalizada y donde los regionalismos tienen un peso cada vez más fuerte en el desarrollo de la política internacional, Centroamérica no puede dejar de mirar hacia dentro para pensar con seriedad sobre su proceso de integración. En este artículo se hace énfasis en la trascendencia que cobra el tema de la integración regional en medio de un mundo de profundas incertidumbres, inestabilidad y crisis ambiental. Se plantea su importancia, se hace un breve recuento de la realidad internacional actual donde se detallan algunas de particularidades que lo caracterizan y que afectan a todas las naciones, para avanzar luego con un análisis sobre el derecho comunitario en el marco del proceso de integración centroamericano con el fin de defender su rol en el mismo, para culminar demostrando la relevancia de éste para el sistema de integración centroamericana.

  In the face of the complexity of the global context and challenges, regional integration and community law have a leading role to play in facing all these shared challenges. In a new global context of multipolarity in which the geopolitics of blocs is a generalized trend and where regionalisms have an increasingly strong weight in the development of international politics, Central America cannot stop looking inward to think seriously about its integration process. This article emphasizes the importance of regional integration in the midst of a world of profound uncertainties, instability and environmental crisis. Its importance is raised, a brief review of the current international reality is made, detailing some of the particularities that characterize it and that affect all nations, to advance then with an analysis of community law within the framework of the Central American integration process with the purpose of defending its role in it, to culminate demonstrating its relevance for the Central American integration system.
