Resumen de Educação quilombola: as diretrizes curriculares e a realidade escolar

  In the municipality of Garanhuns (PE), the quilombola communities Castainho and Estivas are located. Children and teenagers from both communities study at the Virgilia Garcia Bessa School, which is located in the quilombo's own territory and is linked to the city's education department. This work aims to investigate the school reality of these communities and compare them with established curricular guidelines. For this, a visit was made to the school, in order to observe physical and administrative aspects, subsequently, the school's Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP) and the resolution that defines the national curricular guidelines for Quilombola School Education in basic education with thepurpose of verifying whether the school reality is in accordance with what the law proposes. During the visit it was found that the school has adequate physical spaces and a team that meets demand. Reading the PPP and the curriculum guidelines made it possible to verify that some characteristics of the school were in disagreement with what the law says. Throughout the research, it was possible to observe a large deficit when it comes to the quilombola curriculum, there is no identification within the school in question on the part of the students as the curriculum does not seek to strengthen this bond. This is a topic that should still be much debated and encouraged within quilombola schools, in order to strengthen the curriculum together with quilombola traditions and struggles, to generate identification and integration between quilombo and school.

  No município de Garanhuns (PE) estão localizadas as comunidades quilombolas Castainho e Estivas, as crianças e adolescentes oriundos de ambas as comunidades estudam na Escola Virgilia Garcia Bessa que se encontra no próprio território do quilombo e está vinculada à secretaria de educação da cidade. Esse trabalho objetiva investigar a realidade escolar dessas comunidades e comparar com diretrizes curriculares estabelecidas. Para isso, realizou-se uma visita a escola, a fim de observar aspectos físicos e administrativos, posteriormente, foi realizada a leitura do Projeto Político-Pedagógico (PPP) da escola e da resolução que define as diretrizes curriculares nacionais para Educação Escolar Quilombola na educação básica com o propósito de verificar se a realidade escolar está de acordo com o que a lei propõe. Durante a visita foi constatado que a escola dispõe de espaços físicos adequados e uma equipe que atende à demanda. A leitura do PPP e das diretrizes curriculares permitiram verificar que algumas características da escola estavam em desacordo com o que a lei diz. Ao longo da pesquisa, foi possível observar um grande déficit quando o assunto é currículo quilombola, não existe uma identificação dentro da escola em questão por parte dos alunos pois o currículo não busca fortalecer esse vínculo. Essa é uma temática que ainda deve ser muito debatida e incentivada dentro das escolas quilombolas, a fim de fortificar o currículo juntamente com as tradições e lutas quilombolas, para gerar identificação e integração entre quilombo e escola.
