el presente trabajo trata al liberalismo católico como posibilidades teóricas y como concreciones históricas. En las primeras ubicamos al liberalismo católico de fines del s. XIX y a sus continuadores en el s. XX, por un lado, y a Benedicto XVI por el otro. En sus concreciones históricas a mitad de camino nos referimos a los intentos de Rosmini y de Luigi Sturzo. Este artículo destaca la importancia del Magisterio de Benedicto XVI para estas cuestiones.

the present work treats catholic liberalism as theoretical possibilities and as historical concretions. In the first we locate the Catholic liberalism of the late s. XIX and its followers in the s. XX, on the one hand, and Benedict XVI on the other. In its halfway historical concretions we refer to the attempts of Rosmini and Luigi Sturzo. This article highlights the importance of the Magisterium of Benedict XVI for these issues.
