Resumen de Fondos propios del Centro de Estudios Literanos y modo de proceder

  El Centro de Estudios Literanos (Cellit) puso en marcha desde sus inicios una fototecaque se dotó en un principio con los fondos de Víctor Bayona, a raíz de lapublicación en 1998 de 100 años de historia gráfica de Esplús, y de los fondospropios de Juan Rovira, al mismo tiempo que se intentaba recopilar fotografíasde cierta antigüedad a través de amigos y conocidos. Con los años, varios pueblosde la comarca fueron publicando libros sobre su historia gráfica y el Cellitles fue solicitando los fondos acumulados para su elaboración, lo cual ayudó aincrementar ostensiblemente esa pequeña fototeca. Otro medio para conseguirfondos fotográficos ha sido el convenio con la revista comarcal Somos Litera,que aporta en soporte digital todas las imágenes que realiza cada año. Tambiénlas imágenes utilizadas por el Cellit para publicaciones propias o patrocinadascontribuyen a incrementar el archivo.Lo más satisfactorio en lo personal ha sido el descubrimiento de imágenesinéditas y especialmente interesantes como las del llamado por nosotros fondoPla, que consta de más de cuatrocientos negativos encontrados por VíctorBayona en una casa ya deshabitada que resultaron ser de la guerra colonialde Marruecos, de los años en los que Jaime Pla, vecino de San Esteban que fue presidente de la Diputación de Huesca en tiempos de la República, realizóel servicio militar, entre 1921 y 1923. Este fondo fue donado por la familia a laFototeca de la Diputación Provincial de Huesca a instancias del Cellit.En la actualidad contamos con más de ochenta mil imágenes digitalizadas ycolaboramos con la Fototeca Provincial, con el DARA y con las personas y losorganismos que lo requieran, pero nos encontramos con el inconveniente deno disponer del tiempo suficiente ni de un soporte archivístico adecuado paraclasificar las fotografías. Aun así, nuestros fondos aumentan día a día con laincorporación de nuevas fotografías, lo que resulta muy satisfactorio

  From the beginning, the Centro de Estudios Literanos (Cellit) launched a photolibrary that was initially endowed with photographs of Víctor Bayona, followingthe publication in 1998 of 100 años de historia gráfica de Esplús, and of JuanRovira, and at the same time an attempt was made to collect photographs ofa certain antiquity through friends and acquaintances. Over the years, severaltowns in the region published books on their graphic history and the Cellit askedthem for the images used to make them, which helped to greatly increase thatsmall photo library. Another means of obtaining images has been the agreementwith the regional publication Somos Litera, which provides us with digital supportfor all the photographs it takes each year. The images used by the Cellitfor its own or sponsored publications also contribute to increasing the archive.The most personally satisfying thing has been the discovery of unpublished andespecially interesting images such as those of the so-called Pla archive, whichconsists of more than four hundred negatives found by Víctor Bayona in an uninhabitedhouse that turned out to be from the colonial war in Morocco, from theyears in which Jaime Pla, a neighbour of San Esteban who was president of theHuesca Provincial Council in times of the Republic, performed military service,between 1921 and 1923. This archive was donated by the family to the PhotoLibrary of the Huesca Provincial Council at the request of the Cellit.Currently we have more than eighty thousand digitized images and we collaboratewith the Photo Library, with DARA and with the people and organizationsthat require it, but we are facing the inconvenience of not having enough timeor adequate archival support to classify the photographs. Even so, our archiveis increased day by day by incorporating new photographs, which is verysatisfactory.
